We collaborated with our partner Wi Inc. to make medical history with Vitrolife’s XVIVO system. This medical device keeps lungs viable for transplant with nutrient perfusion and dynamic thermal controls. This medical product design effort employed user-centered ergonomics to create this functional and professional form. We created full size mock-ups to help us discover the best ways to fit components, route tubing and position the control surfaces.
