TMGcore OTTO: Remote Experience UX

Mixer designed the look and feel of the User Interface (UI) for all the software that runs on TMGcore’s systems. Our goal was to create a unifying experience that would look and behave the same on the machine’s input touchscreens and on desktops or mobile devices. We also designed OTTO Dashboard, a global system-level control software to monitor and control sites with multiple machines.

Global Oversight - Hi-Fi Control

The OTTO Dashboard allows large networks of devices around the world to be monitored for function, efficiency and alerts. The digital UI allows administrators to isolate individual systems and monitor their performance. If troubleshooting is necessary, operators can intervene manually to control all the machine functions.

Familiar Models

Our User Experience team created diagrams and visual cues using familiar iconography derived from standard machine control systems. Every important subsystem could be adjusted real-time with direct data feedback from anywhere in the world.

Human Machine Interface

The large touchscreen displays a very deep and complex machine control system. A tab-based organization of information controls numerous subsystems of the device. Real-time data displayed in a recognizable graphical format was available for every system. Intuitive digital control knobs enable operators to fine tune system functions.

Live Video

In addition to the hundreds of electronic sensors, cameras monitor important safety checkpoints. This adds an extra layer of verification and confidence that the device is behaving as it is instructed to do. This is particularly important for remote operators.
